Allana Ferguson bio
Allana represented Australia at the Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana on the sidelines for many years prior to making her return to rugby league. Allana participated in her first female match in the 2015 season of rugby league and played in the game for New South Wales against Queensland. Allana has also added radio to her game, making regular appearances with the most popular Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana Ferguson is an experienced educator outside the sport world. Allana Ferguson has the unique privilege of representing Australia in three different sports including the rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also the union of rugby. Allana Ferguson is a Jillaroos' rugby player and fourth time tear to the ACL was forced to end her career in football. The 25-year-old had previously torn the ligament in the same knee when she was a teenager and a 20-year-old and following a 4th tear, this meant that Ferguson's playing time ended. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and the fourth year player to be injured in the ACL, needed to leave earlier. Ferguson has confirmed to The Courier Mail that she was injured during training during November. She was a player in the women's rugby league throughout the years.
